Questions worth asking
Clear answers before you commit.
A good solar decision should hold up under questions about cost, production, backup power, scheduling, and long-term service.
Visit the Full FAQHow do I know whether solar is a good fit for my property?
We review your electricity use, available roof or ground space, orientation, shade, electrical equipment, utility rules, and financial goals. The answer may be a conventional array, a different layout, a smaller project, or an honest recommendation to wait.
Will solar keep my home powered during an outage?
A standard grid-connected solar system shuts down during an outage for utility-worker safety. Battery backup can keep selected circuits—or, when properly designed, a larger portion of the home—powered within the system’s energy and output limits.
Can a battery be added to an existing solar system?
Often, yes. The best approach depends on the existing inverter, electrical service, available installation space, utility requirements, and which loads you want to protect. We model those tradeoffs before recommending equipment.
Who handles permits, utility applications, and inspections?
Full Spectrum Solar coordinates project engineering, permitting, utility interconnection, scheduling, installation, inspection, and permission to operate. Your project manager keeps those handoffs organized and communicates what comes next.
Do you service solar systems installed by other companies?
Our service department evaluates maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring issues for existing systems. Equipment age, manufacturer support, and replacement-part availability may affect the practical repair path.
Can I install EV charging or a heat pump water heater without solar?
Yes. These upgrades can be evaluated as stand-alone projects or coordinated with solar, battery backup, and electrical-service planning.

We've been very happy with the Full Spectrum team for almost 10 years now. From our initial emails, we had all of our questions answered patiently and clearly. Our installation was excellent and all billing was transparent. Our gear has run flawlessly since 2017 and we wouldn't change a thing. During the hail storms of the spring of 2026, our solar panels survived unscathed and we had zero issues. We recently had our solar system removed to install a new metal roof, then reinstalled with a new fastening system. And again, the Full Spectrum team has been solid throughout the process. There is simply no one we would trust more with solar than Full Spectrum; they have our full confidence and thanks!Posted on GoogleGary KirkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Just got my solar system up and running. The system came in on time and on budget. There were no surprises, and Ted and his crew were good at communicating throughout. In comparing FSS's prices to another vendor's, I found their costs to be very reasonable. In sum: A pleasure working with FSS and I'd recommend them to all prospective customers. Update (7/30/26): Due to a hailstorm in April, my roof needed to be removed and replaced. This required having my solar panels removed and then reinstalled by FSS after the new roof was in place. FSS was helpful, communicative, and responsive in getting the solar panels off and then reinstalled in a timely manner. Additionally, the gentlemen who did the actual work were courteous and did a good job, making sure everything worked as it should and cleaning up after themselves. This confirmed for me, again, that FSS was and continues to be a good choice as a solar power company.Posted on GoogleAmie PittmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
We had excellent service from Spectrum Solar. Ron and his crew worked through some unique challenges and he always communicated thoroughly and promptly. We were especially impressed with their determination and focus to work through issues brought up from our electric company. Each step was intentional, thoughtful, and professional. We strongly recommend Spectrum Solar to others who are considering adding solar to their property. We also found everyone from this company to go above and beyond to answer questions and help with additional support so we could use the Enlighten app to see our energy output. Thank you to everyone at Spectrum Solar!!Posted on GoogleRobert DixonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Hi everyone. I can't say enough about Ron and his team. From start to finish. Absolutely spit on. I've been in construction all my life. I'd hire them anytime. My electricity and gas bill are 40$ to 70$. And I like my house cool. This is almost August 2026. Completely satisfied, especially when friends are crying about there 3 to 400$ bill.Posted on GoogleDan WittTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

I love Full Spectrum Solar! Our system was installed in 2016 and still works flawlessly 10 years later. Due to a recent hail storm, our system had to be removed so that the roof could be replaced. The solar panels were the only things that were not damaged in the hail storm. Full Spectrum got us on their schedule quickly, both for removal, to accommodate the roofers, and re-install, so that we could resume generating electricity. Everyone I have worked with there has been knowledgeable and professional. It's great to support a local business providing a wonderful service.Posted on GoogleAmanda SchallerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Very grateful to be working with Full Spectrum Solar - they're a huge help in supporting our solar panels. We felt lost after the company that installed them went out of business, and now we have excellent local support.Posted on GoogleJonathan DrewsenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
Our experience with Full Spectrum Solar was exceptional. Ron's willingness to come to our home and learn about our project and provide quality and helpful information before we even agreed to working with them spoke volumes about FSS's care and commitment to our vision and needs for our solar and battery system. The engineers and electricians were professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. We are really pleased with the quality of the product and installation. A top-notch experience all around.Showing only 4-5 star reviews
