Celebrating 24 Years of Full Spectrum Solar

A look back at more than two decades of solar work across Wisconsin—and the communities that have trusted us along the way.

This August marks 24 years of Full Spectrum Solar, a milestone that gives us a good reason to look back at how far we’ve come.Since our beginning in 2002, we have watched solar evolve from a relatively uncommon technology into an important part of how Wisconsin homes, businesses, farms, and organizations think about energy. Through those changes, our focus has remained the same: provide thoughtful system design, quality installation, honest guidance, and long-term support for the people who trust us with their projects.
 
Looking through our installation history helps put those 24 years into perspective. After cleaning and consolidating our project records, we identified more than 1,600 unique installation locations across Wisconsin. The concentration is strongest around Madison and Dane County, but our work stretches well beyond the immediate area into communities throughout southern, central, and southeastern Wisconsin.

Every dot on the map below represents more than a solar array. It represents a homeowner, business, farm, nonprofit, or organization that made an investment in its energy future—and a project our team had the opportunity to help bring to life.

As we celebrate our 24th birthday, we are grateful to the customers, employees, partners, and communities that have supported Full Spectrum Solar along the way. We’re proud of the work behind us and excited to keep building on it as we head toward year 25.
