This solar PV system outside of Watertown, WI was activated on April 19, 2022. It snowed that morning but the snow quickly slid off and the solar panels were able to take advantage of sun in the afternoon.
The 4.7 kW system consists of 13 American-made Q Cells 360-watt solar panels and Enphase micro inverters, all of which are covered with a 25-year warranty.
This solar electric system will offset 91% of the homeowners’ electric usage and they will save around $750 in the first year and more in the future as energy prices rise.
